Jammu University's Bhaderwah Campus Hosts Business Idea Boot Camp to Foster Young Entrepreneurship

​Bhadarwah, August,14: Nurturing the spirit of enterprise among youth, the School of Management Studies (SOMS) at the Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu, on Friday hosted a high energy "Best Business Idea Boot Camp" in collaboration with Mudralaya FinTech Private Limited.

​Designed exclusively for students pursuing BBA, B.Com. and MBA degrees, the dynamic platform allowed budding entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity and business acumen before a panel of industry experts. Ten innovative business startups and models came under the spotlight, evaluated rigorously on market opportunities, customer needs, unique value propositions and commercial viability.

​Applauding the initiative, Prof. Rahul Gupta, Rector of the Bhaderwah Campus emphasized the critical need for strengthening industry academia linkages.

​"Such programs provide our students with invaluable practical exposure and direct interaction with the corporate world," Prof. Gupta said while encouraging learners to actively bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and market execution. He also commended the Mudralaya FinTech team for extending their expertise and platform to the campus.

​Earlier, setting the tone for the event, Dr. Umesh Choudhary Incharge Head of SOMS, delivered the welcome address. He noted that experiential interactions are essential for helping students grasp ground level market realities and build the confidence necessary to emerge as tomorrow's business leaders.

​The boot camp featured presentations from a cohort of promising student innovators including Harsh Choudhary, Brighu Nandan Bhan, Arshpreet Kaur, Lakshmi, Anmol, Monik Thakur, Aquib, Mohammad Muneeb, Prakriti Dutt, Shubra Abbas, Tosia, Priyansh Sharma and Afaan Wani. The participants received critical, hands on feedback from industry professionals spanning business development, strategic marketing and financial feasibility.

​Faculty members including Dr. Rohit Bhagat, Dr. Mohammed Avais, Amit, Dr. Umar Sadeeq, Mehmood Ahmed, Shabir Hussain, Surbhi Langeh and Asma Jamil played active roles in facilitating the day's proceedings.

​The event wrapped up with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Alyas Ahmed, reinforcing SOMS Bhaderwah Campus's steadfast commitment to championing innovation, experiential learning and industry oriented education in the region.
