Mandi Gobindgarh, May 29: Desh Bhagat University celebrated a significant advancement in its teaching and media capabilities with the inauguration of a new Audio‑Visual Studio on its Mandi Gobindgarh campus.
The studio was officially inaugurated by Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro‑Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, in the presence of senior university leaders, faculty, and distinguished guests. The new facility underscores the university’s commitment to innovation, digital learning, and enhanced communication resources for both students and academic staff.
In his remarks, Dr. Zora Singh highlighted the critical role of modern technological infrastructure in higher education, adding that the Audio‑Visual Studio will offer students hands‑on experience and broaden learning opportunities in media and communication disciplines.
Dr. Tajinder Kaur Pro-chancellor noted that the university continually seeks to introduce contemporary facilities that support skill development and academic excellence among students.
Other dignitaries at the event included Dr. Sandeep Singh, President of Desh Bhagat University, and Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice‑Chancellor, who welcomed the initiative and expressed confidence that the studio would serve as a vital platform for creative learning, recording, broadcasting, and the production of academic content. Also present were Mr. Avtar Singh, Assistant Director (Media), and Mr. Paramvir Janagal, Public Relations Officer.
