The opening day of the prestigious J&K Open 2026 Pro-Am, organised under the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) at Royal Springs Golf Course, Srinagar, witnessed an exciting display of golfing excellence as professionals and amateur golfers came together for a memorable day of competition against the breathtaking backdrop of the Zabarwan Hills.
The event, as per a statement, is part of the J&K Open, being held from August 4–7, 2026, with the support of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and J&K Tourism.
The highlight of the opening day’s Pro-Am competition was the outstanding performance of the winning team comprising Arindam Sudan, Amarjeet Singh, Manav Gupta and Sameer Baktoo.
The quartet delivered an impressive team performance, demonstrating excellent coordination, precision and sportsmanship to emerge as the winners of the Day One Pro-Am competition.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from leading professional golfers, corporate representatives and amateur golf enthusiasts, further reinforcing Jammu & Kashmir’s growing stature as a premier destination for golf tourism. The spectacular setting of the Royal Springs Golf Course added to the grandeur of the tournament, providing participants and visitors with an unforgettable experience.
