AICTE CCO, VC of Purnea University and Eminent Academicians to Participate in Ai Education Summit on “Ai for Education, Ai in Education”
New Delhi May 21, 2026: Super 30's Mathematician Padma Shri Anand Kumar and Dr. Atul Kothari, National Secretary of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, will attend the “AI Education Summit 2026” being organised by the Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS) on the theme "Artificial Intelligence for Education, Artificial Intelligence in Education" Saturday, 23 May 2026 at India International Centre, New Delhi.
The summit is being organised by the Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS) in collaboration with the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), Media Centre, and sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, Government of India,
Dr. Atul Kothari will attend the summit as the Chief Guest. The keynote address will be delivered by Super 30's mathematician Padma Shri Anand Kumar, who is widely known for his contribution towards quality education and empowering students through innovative teaching methods. Among the Guests of Honour will be Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar, Chief Coordinating Officer (CCO), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Prof. Vivekanand Singh, Vice Chancellor of Purnea University, Bihar; and Prof. Payal Mago, Director, Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi. The Summit will be presided over by Dr. Basant Goel, Author and Chairman, Mission Sarvath Seva.
The national conclave is being organised with the vision of contributing towards the dream of Viksit Bharat 2047 by promoting meaningful discussions on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in education and its impact on the future of learning, research, innovation, and skill development.
The summit will begin with the welcome address while the introductory remarks will be delivered by Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman, Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS). The session will be moderated by Dr. Amna Mirza from University of Delhi.
The conclave will also feature distinguished speakers including Prof. Ihtiram Raza Khan, Dr. Amrita Sastry, Dr. J. P. Singh, Jawaid Rahmani and Prof. Divya Tanwar, who will deliberate on the opportunities, challenges, and future prospects of Artificial Intelligence in the education sector.
Speaking about the initiative, Prof. Jasim Mohammad stated that the primary objective of organising the summit is to create awareness regarding the responsible and effective use of Artificial Intelligence in education and to encourage students, teachers, and institutions to adopt modern technological advancements for nation-building and academic excellence.
He further stated that India is moving towards a new era of innovation and digital transformation, and such academic platforms will play a vital role in strengthening research culture, knowledge-sharing, and educational empowerment in line with the vision of a developed India.
