Chandigarh, May 16: A meeting of the Senior Journalists Forum Chandigarh was held today under the chairmanship of Mr. A.S. Prashar in Chandigarh. During the meeting, Mr. Kewal Bharti, General Secretary of the Forum, formally handed over the registration documents of the Forum to President Shri Jagtar Sidhu and Patron S. Sukhdev Singh.
The members expressed happiness over the official registration of the Forum with the Chandigarh Administration and termed it an important step towards strengthening unity and welfare among senior journalists in the region.
On the occasion, Forum members Sh Surinder Singh Groa (Finance Secretary), Mr. Avtar Singh, Mr. Sandeep Sharma and Mr. Jaswant Rana were also present. They congratulated the office bearers and members on the successful registration of the Forum.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to work collectively for the interests, dignity, and welfare of senior journalists.
