Prof. Javid Iqbal Khan Appointed I/c Director of KU’s Kupwara Campus

Srinagar, September 1: Prof. Dr. Javid Iqbal Khan, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Kashmir, has been entrusted with the additional charge of In-Charge Director, Kupwara Campus, University of Kashmir, with immediate effect.
Prof. Khan is an economist, teacher and researcher with a strong record of academic and scholarly engagement. He is known for his research-oriented approach, academic dynamism and understanding of contemporary economic issues.
His appointment is expected to provide further impetus to the academic, research and developmental activities at the Kupwara Campus. His academic experience and administrative capabilities are also expected to contribute to strengthening the campus as an important centre of higher learning in the region.
The University community and people of Kupwara have conveyed their congratulations to Prof. Khan and wished him success in his new responsibility.
