Patient Privacy Paramount, Deserves Utmost Respect, Says, Muqbil Lateef Hussain

Imposes Complete Ban on Videography, Reel Making in Sensitive Hospital Areas.

Anantnag, May 21: The Administrative Officer of Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, Muqbil Lateef Hussain (JKAS), has imposed a complete ban on videography and reel making by staff members inside sensitive areas of the hospital premises, particularly Operation Theatres (OTs) and other patient-care sections.

The decision has been taken to safeguard the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of patients undergoing treatment in the hospital. 

Sharing details on the matter, the officer stated that the patient privacy is of utmost importance and any form of unauthorized recording within sensitive hospital zones will not be tolerated.

Hussain further warned that any employee found violating the directions shall face strict disciplinary action as per rules. He emphasized that the administration is committed to maintaining professional ethics and ensuring a respectful environment for patients and attendants alike.

The hospital administration has urged all staff members to strictly adhere to the guidelines and cooperate in preserving the sanctity and confidentiality of healthcare services within the institution.
