KATHMANDU, Jul 27: Nepal's top judge Manoj Kumar Sharma met his Indian counterpart, Chief Justice Surya Kant, and both discussed matters related to judicial exchange between the two countries, an official said today.

Nepal's Chief Justice Sharma was on a four-day official visit to India at the invitation of Chief Justice Kant.

During his visit to India, Sharma held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart, Kant, and discussed matters regarding the exchange of judicial practices between the two countries, according to Supreme Court Spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala.

Chief Justice Sharma also observed the Supreme Court of India and gathered information regarding the administration of justice.

The chief justice was accompanied by his spouse, Uma Sharma, and Joint Registrar Amit Upreti during the visit. (PTI)
