Mufti Qazi Mohammad Amin Lolabi Appointed Vice-President of Muslim Personal Law Board J&K in Kupwara

Kupwara: 14 Sep 2026, Mufti Qazi Mohammad Amin Lolabi has been appointed as the Vice-President of the Muslim Personal Law Board Jammu & Kashmir for District Kupwara, with immediate effect.

According to an official notification issued by the Board, the appointment has been made as part of the reorganisation of organisational affairs and following approval by the competent authority.

The decision was taken after consultation among Chairman Muslim Personal Law Board Jammu & Kashmir Hazrat Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam Farooqi, Vice-Chairman Syed Mohammad Aslam Andrabi, Additional Secretary Maulana Noorani Naqshbandi, and District President Kupwara Qazi Khurshid.

The Board said the appointment was made in recognition of Mufti Qazi Mohammad Amin Lolabi’s religious and scholarly credentials, experience, sincerity and commitment to the objectives and organisational mission of the Board.

As Vice-President, Mufti Lolabi will discharge the responsibilities assigned to him in accordance with the Board’s constitution, organisational discipline and policies. He will also work in coordination with the District President and other members of the organisational leadership.

The notification was issued by Engineer Danish Rishi, General Secretary (Organisation), Muslim Personal Law Board Jammu & Kashmir and Advisor to the Grand Mufti of Jammu & Kashmir.
