Kashmir Sewa Sangh Chief Firdous Baba Raises Srinagar Smart City Parking Issue

Srinagar: Kashmir Sewa Sangh Chief Firdous Baba today addressed a press conference in Srinagar, drawing attention to the parking-related problems under the Srinagar Smart City initiative and the difficulties being faced by the general public.
Addressing media persons at the Kashmir Sewa Sangh office in Sara City, Hari Singh High Street, Baba highlighted concerns over the availability, accessibility and management of parking facilities across the city. He said the existing arrangements need to be reviewed to ensure that residents, traders, commuters and visitors do not face unnecessary inconvenience.
Firdous Baba urged the concerned authorities to take immediate and practical measures to improve parking infrastructure, ensure proper management of designated parking spaces and strengthen coordination between civic and traffic authorities.
He stressed that Smart City projects should focus on providing convenient and efficient civic facilities to the people and called for a public-friendly approach towards resolving Srinagar’s parking and traffic-related challenges.
The Kashmir Sewa Sangh Chief reiterated that the organisation would continue to raise issues concerning the common people and seek appropriate intervention from the authorities.
