Shopian, July 4: Gunshots were heard during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the Saidpora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday, prompting security forces to intensify the operation.
IGP Kashmir told G K that security forces were conducting a CASO in Saidpora when a few gunshots were heard from the area. Following the incident, additional reinforcements were rushed to the spot and searches were intensified.
