Viksit Bharat Shikshak Awards 2026

The event will also feature the Viksit Bharat Shikshak Awards 2026, through which CNMS will recognise and honour educators who have made valuable contributions to teaching, education, student development and nation-building.

Speaking about the initiative, Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman, Centre for NaMo Studies, said, “We are organising an all-day national workshop because education is the foundation of a strong and developed nation. NEP 2020 has given India a forward-looking vision, but its success depends on effective implementation and the active participation of teachers, institutions and young people. We want to create a platform where these stakeholders can come together, exchange ideas and discuss the way forward.”

Prof. Divya Tanwar, Member Jury, CNMS-VBSA, said, “At the same time, we believe that those who dedicate their lives to education deserve recognition. Through the Viksit Bharat Shikshak Awards 2026, CNMS seeks to honour teachers whose commitment, hard work and contribution to education are helping shape the future of our nation. Recognising teachers is also a way of recognising the importance of education itself.”

The seminar will bring together educators, academics and other stakeholders to deliberate on the implementation of NEP 2020, with a focus on building an inclusive, innovative and future-ready higher education system in India.
