Mumbai Police received a threat call on Saturday claiming that the Red Fort in Delhi would be blown up, following which the information was shared with the Delhi Police control room.

The alert was then forwarded to the North District Police in Delhi, who investigated the matter.

After verification, police found that the threat call was a hoax.

Authorities have not reported any further security concerns following the investigation.
