Abdul Ahad Lone Takes Charge as BDO Kalaroos, Assures Focus on Public Grievances

Kalaroos, August 22: Abdul Ahad Lone on Saturday assumed charge as the new Block Development Officer (BDO) of Kalaroos, following the transfer of former BDO Abdul Rashid Sheikh.
Lone formally took charge at the Block Development Office, where he was welcomed by officers and employees of the department, Panchayat Secretaries, GRS officials, contractors, political and social representatives, and local residents.
The welcome gathering was attended by BDO Drugmulla, senior social worker Abdul Rashid Mir of Kalaroos, AIP Zonal President Kupwara Mir Mohammad Ashraf, besides several contractors, Panchayat Secretaries, GRS officials and other staff members.
Those present congratulated Lone on his new assignment and expressed hope that his tenure would further strengthen developmental activities and improve coordination between the administration and the people at the grassroots level.
Speaking after assuming charge, Lone said that timely redressal of public grievances, close monitoring of development works and effective implementation of government welfare schemes would remain among his key priorities.
He stressed the importance of ensuring that government schemes and benefits reach eligible beneficiaries without unnecessary delay. He also called upon employees to maintain close coordination with the public and discharge their responsibilities with honesty, dedication and a sense of accountability.
Lone further emphasised that the development of Kalaroos would require collective efforts and said that cooperation from government departments, public representatives and local residents would be encouraged to address issues and accelerate development across the block.
