June 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has nominated 20 Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers as District Mentors to ensure the timely completion of the revenue record digitization across the Union Territoy.
As per an order, Rajinder Singh Tara, Secretary in the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment has been nominated as District Mentor for Jammu district and Sukhdev Singh Samyal, Special Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department for Samba district.
Similarly, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Director, Geology and Mining Department, has been nominated as District Mentor for Kathua and Charandeep Singh, Labour Commissioner, J&K for Udhampur District.
The order further said that Rajesh Kumar Shavan, Director Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Jammu shall be the District Mentor for Rajouri district and Inderjeet, Commissioner Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Commissioner), J&K for the Poonch district.
Additionally, Puneet Sharma, Special Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, has been nominated as the District Mentor for Reasi district and Naresh Kumar, Additional Commissioner in the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu for the Doda district.
