- With an aim to strengthen the relationship between AWAAM & JAWAAN and for upliftment of women in the Lolab valley, 28 RR under the aegis of HQ 8 Sector organised for Distribution of Sewing Machines to the Girls of Economically vulnerable background
- During the event the girls from the economically vulnerable background were provided with sewing machines in order to present them with an opportunity to earn their livelihood within the confines of their home and to ensure their empowerment in social status.
3.The event was attended by Brigadier and Mrs Neeraj Sharma, Cdr, HQ 8 SECTOR RR.
4.The event received an overwhelming response and the Awam praised the initiative by 28 RR.
