Sopore: A residential house and a store-room of a religious seminary were gutted in two separate fire incidents in Sopore areas of north Kashmir in Baramulla district.
Reports reaching said, that a two story residential house of Ghulam Qadir Malla at Malmapanpora and a store-room of Madrassa Riyaz ul Soliheen at Botingoo Sopore were gutted in massive blaze that erupted during wee hours on Friday.
They said that fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames, but couldn’t save the belongings.
However, locals said that the house and a storeroom got fully damaged and property worth lacs got damaged.
Meanwhile police had taken the cognizance of both the cases.
