A 15 year old girl was injured in bear attack in Darpora village of Lolab of kupwara district on Thursday evening.
The injured girl was identified as Bisma bano 15, D/o Ziya u din peer resident of Astanbhuthu area in darpora village.
She was attacked while working in vegetable fields where she got critically injured in her head and was rushed towards Sub District Hospital Sogam for treatment.
Due to chopping down of forests the wild animals are roaming in villages to get food. Initially one more person was attacked by bear in Handwara area of kupwara district.
